I always kind of liked that Tolstoy quote, the one where he says all great stories are about one of two things; someone going on a journey or someone coming to town.  I may have taken this all too literally, but I’ve always loved a good story.

Once upon a time, I was working in Toronto in the film and television industry. For more than a decade I managed video and audio production for domestic, US and international markets. I loved it. There is nothing better than collaborating with creative people to share a story. So why did I leave?

As I said, I’ve always loved a good story and arriving in Vancouver provided a whole new adventure. I got to  meet some incredible people and be part of a video production start-up, an opportunity that remains a professional highlight for me. It was challenging but our success was exhilarating, and sharing that experience with a talented team made it all the better.

I took this as a trend, as the inevitable potential of moving, and jumped when I had the chance to come to Geneva. Now I am back behind the camera, in the editing chair and producing video content and audio podcasts. Most importantly though,  I’m following my love of good stories and my passion for digital storytelling. Let’s start some creative collaboration.
